In today's WSJ paper dated March 25 2008, The Career Journal section (page D4) has a Q&A, ""When the employers offer new hires bigger salaries" that talks about when a person that just as hired for the same job as you...but you find out that he/she is being paid more than you!
What can you do?
Do you go to Human Resources and complain?
How do they justify hiring someone for the same exact job or skill such as you for more money... and not paying you the same salary?
This happens all the time of course and it's demoralizing and frustrating.
Leave a comment and let me know if this has happened to you -- and what has been your response? What do you think is fair? How do you approach it? What's the solution?
Any advice? Please share with us below.
